However, the heroine's family was a bit much, although his grandmother started to come around at the end but most of it she acts like a stuck up snob. I loved how the hero seemed to always arrive at the right (or is it wrong) time? I loved how they interacted. This one had me laughing in places because the heroine is so outlandish but I give it to her she doesn't let anything stop her. As I'm a Navy brat, I've felt the same as them and hated the dog and pony shows as much as they did even though my father wasn't an officer, we were still expected to go. I did link with the heroine and her brother with their feelings about their parents. You also get to know the heroine's brother which was great and he lighted up things. The heroine is a bit over the top at first but she carves a bit of your heart to get in there. You really do get to like the hero in this one. I just forgot to do the reviews for them then. This is the second time I've read this series due to not realizing it was one of the series I've read before. For a run down what the book is about please see the the blurb above the reviews.
